Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) is an independent German political foundation close to the Christian Democratic Party. In Germany, 16 regional offices and two conference centers offer a wide variety of civic education opportunities and events. With field offices in more than 80 countries, Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) hosts more than 200 projects in around 120 countries on four continents. Activities are carried out together with partners in the host countries, including national and regional parliaments and governments, political parties, schools, research institutes and universities, media companies, employers’ associations, trade unions, cooperatives, women’s, environmental, and self-help groups.
